Five Leaves

Description

This triangle-shaped corner restaurant was the creation of actor Heath Ledger, who passed away before it opened. The nautical-themed bistro serves New American fare with Australian accents, courtesy of head chef Ken Addington. Consider the lamb shepherd’s pie, whole grilled dorade or a cavatelli dish with spicy duck ragu, spinach, poached duck egg and sesame. The spot is also a favorite for breakfast and brunch, boasting ricotta pancakes with honeycomb butter and fruit, grapefruit brûlée (for those pretending to diet) and a creamy avocado toast with green onion and radish.
