Description
Jean Imbert won the French version of Top Chef in 2012 and perpetuated his stardom by partnering with Pharrell Williams to open Swan and Bar Bevy in Miami. Encore, Imbert’s Meatpacking District venture, has French touches like veal blanquette, soufflés and celery root gratin with black truffle. Still, most of the ingredients, including seafood, are sourced locally, and the innovative compositions make dishes here more New American than anything else. The vibe in the 175-seat dining room is sensuous and clubby.
