In the midst of Nolita's hip shopping quarter is an adorable Roman-style trattoria and grocery store selling a few basic staples. The sit-down menu, which changes regularly, includes grilled Mediterranean branzino and homemade pasta made from organic eggs. Pizzas are wood fired and sport toppings like spicy sopressata, San Marzano tomato sauce and buffalo mozzarella. If you're in more of a snacking mood, there's also a range of cheese, cured meats and light antipasto. A skylit dining room in the back provides extra seating.
