Emack & Bolio’s

Out of Business

Description

This smallish chain based out of Boston is growing in NYC, with multiple stores in Manhattan and Brooklyn that carry its line of homemade ice cream and frozen yogurt. The self-proclaimed “hippie ice cream store” is known for its dipped cones that are encrusted with sweets like Oreos, Rice Krispies and Fruit Loops and then topped with heaping scoops of their signature creamy treat. If delicious confectionary cones aren’t your thing, you can, of course, get your ice cream in a cup. Sundaes, drinks—frappes, smoothies and ice cream sodas—and a case of chocolates available by the pound round out the menu.
