Description
Élan is a contemporary American restaurant by chef David Waltuck and co-owner George Stinson, located in Manhattan's Gramercy/Flatiron neighborhood. This is chef Waltuck's first restaurant since Chanterelle, the celebrated fixture of downtown dining for 30 years, where Mr. Stinson was general manager for more than a decade. The name "Élan" reflects the energy and style of both the food and the setting: the space is casual yet sophisticated, and likewise the menu strikes a balance between refined and whimsical.
