Description
Several restaurants were clamoring to nab a vendor spot in the newly built Brooklyn Bridge Park, and West Village staple Ditch Plains is one of the lucky winners. Owned by Marc Murphy and located at Pier 1 Gatehouse, the surf-style concession stand is much more sophisticated than your average waterfront food cart, serving up lobster rolls, crab rolls, Vietnamese chicken wraps and, of course, the restaurant's signature hot dogs, including the Ditch Dog. There are also snacks and bevies for kids, including goldfish, mac 'n' cheese and, for dessert, push pops.
