This quaint cafe occupies a small green building on an unassuming Greenpoint street, far from the madding crowd just up the block on Manhattan Avenue. And yet locals bypass nearby coffeehouses to arrive here for a host of reasons: strong, fresh coffee; beans roasted in the Ramapo Valley, just north of the City; and a notably friendly staff who make sure to greet every customer. There’s also a lovely selection of pastries, including some vegan options.
