Description

This packed, Columbia-area eatery focuses on ethically raised, organic, free-range and fair-trade products. Even the flour that goes into the fresh-baked bread is organic. Owners DeDe Lahman and Neil Kleinberg (who is also the chef) are a married couple committed to eating healthy without sacrificing flavor. They first gained a devoted following at their Lower East Side restaurant, Clinton Street Baking Company, and brought the same principles to bear far uptown. The place has a welcoming, energetic vibe, an ideal neighborhood spot. The selection of fresh juices can't be beat.
