Cocotazo

Description

Frances Roman, owner and head chef at Cocotazo, comes from a long line of cooks. A childhood spent eating rice, beans and chicken repeatedly ("again") sparked creativity in Chef Frances to try something new: to make traditional Puerto Rican food with a twist and fuse other cultures with theirs. Cocotazo serves that menu from a permanent booth inside the historic La Marqueta in El Barrio.
