Description
Discover Nicaraguan-inspired street food at this casual Latin American spot, which serves salpicon rillettes, shredded short ribs with smoked coconut, and quesillos. This specialty is a cousin of quesadillas, small, house-milled tortillas heaped with freshly pulled cheese and slow-cooked chicken. Vanessa Palazio, of Nicaraguan heritage, runs the tropically colored warehouse space with her husband, Adam Schneider. Their endeavor also ranks as a great hangout in Bushwick for sampling rare rums (in inventive cocktails) and Nicaraguan beer.
