Chatti by Regi Mathew is New York City's first restaurant entirely dedicated to the toddy shops of Kerala, India. Chef Regi Mathew, one of India's most celebrated chefs, brings a deep connection to Kerala's culinary heritage, combining meticulous research with award-winning expertise to present the rich and vibrant flavors of his home state. From the seafood-rich backwaters of Alleppey to the hearty meat specialties of the Malabar and High Range regions, both the food and drink menus reflect the many flavors of Kerala and the communal spirit of toddy shop dining. Guests have the option to dine in an expansive dining room, take a seat at the full-service bar, or enter the mezzanine level for private dining. Walk-ins are welcome and reservations can be made via OpenTable.
