Cha-An Tea House

Description

Cha-An Teahouse was established in 2004 by Japanese restaurateur Bon Yagi with the concept of omotenashi (a term for whole-hearted hospitality) in mind. The East Village spot features traditional and modern cuisine and desserts; wooden tables, tatami benches, washi-paper lamps and seasonal floral decorations add to the ambience, which feels like a piece of Japan.
