This East Harlem favorite serves up Peruvian tapas, with respected chef Miguel Aguilar at the helm. The atmosphere is classy but still relaxed, making it perfectly suited for both romantic dates and group dinners. Traditional Peruvian cuisine with a modern flair makes up the menu, which offers items like empanadas, meat-stuffed mashed potatoes, a long list of ceviches (of course), including a few made with octopus, as well as a variety of larger meat and seafood dishes. Our suggestion: go on an empty stomach.
