The kolache—a fluffy, chewy Czech pastry filled with fruit or meat paste—is the star of the show at this, New York City's only bakery devoted solely to the dessert. Snackers can pick up savory versions of the pastry, filled with eggs, jalapeño cheese and sausage, or go traditional with a strawberry, blueberry or sweet-cheese kolache.
