Brooklyn Cider House

Out of Business

Description

Spain’s Basque country was the inspiration for Brooklyn Cider House, a former warehouse appointed with fermenting containers, aging barrels and communal tables that create an interactive, enlightening environment. Founder Peter Yi, who owns an apple orchard and cidery in the Hudson Valley, serves “raw,” “kinda dry” and “bone dry” ciders, plus a five-course prix fixe with cider-braised chorizo and ribeye steak. There’s a vegetarian option too. Sit at the bar for a less structured experience, with à la carte choices like burgers and a cheese plate.
