Blue Ribbon Brasserie

Out of Business

Description

Bruce and Eric Bromberg's Blue Ribbon brand may have spawned everything from a cookbook to a Rennaisance hotel partnership, but the narrow original outpost, opened in 1992, still dishes out a mixed bag of comfort food classics like a massive platter of peppery fried chicken and mashed potatoes ($25.50), excellent raw bar offerings and oddball finds like pigeon with toasted barley ($29.50). Candlelit coziness and a 4am shutter time make it the perfect last stop to a long evening (and the celebrity sightings ain't bad either).
