Belgian Room

place
121 St Mark's Place, Manhattan, NY, 10009

Description

This low-key neighborhood Euro-pub specializes in beers on tap, including hard-to-find brands (mostly Belgian, although there are domestic beers and liquor as well) such as Delirium Tremens, Saison Dupont and Tripel Karmeliet. As the jukebox bumps, revelers gather around small wooden tables in the front and white leather banquettes in the back lounge, munching on pommes frites, steamed mussels and Belgian sandwiches, called "Broodjes."
