Bazar Bistro

Out of Business

Description

Bazar Bistro is a Mediterranean bistro with strong French accents and North African decor—sumptuous colors, vintage Moroccan lanterns and a mosaic fountain. Executive chef Rick Laakkonen (The River Café, Ilo) has drawn together the region's influences for a menu that includes loup de mer with lobster mashed potatoes, steak frites and briwatts, a savory Moroccan phyllo pastry. He puts an emphasis on locally grown produce and humanely produced meats and sustainable fish. This is the first solo project for owner Peter Eljastimi, a Moroccan who previously worked at Daniel and Essex House and managed Buddha Bar for six years.
