Saturated in bright colors, this tropical-themed venue spreads out over two levels of the Cassa Times Square Hotel. Upstairs, there’s an indoor-outdoor aerie with a retractable roof, latticed walls and a bar that looks more Key West than Hell’s Kitchen. Bar Gonzo gets its name from Hunter S. Thompson and the partying 1970s. It delivers with festive cocktails and salty snacks meant to keep you drinking, plus salads and thick-crust pizza.
