All Hands

Out of Business

Description

Near the East River waterfront and the Williamsburg Bridge is a contemporary, bi-level maritime restaurant in a restored 19th-century building. The remote whereabouts of All Hands make it feel like a romantic escape for those in the know. Not only that, but the cocktails are sublime, the seafood is fresh and the welcome warm. Executive chef Peter Lipson, formerly of Northern Spy Food Co., splits the menu into raw bar selections, small plates (highlights being grilled octopus, albacore tuna pastrami and skate wing chowder with bacon and popcorn) and mains like olive-oil-poached salmon and pasta with littleneck clams.
