West Harlem Piers Park

Description

In summer 2008, the long-awaited West Harlem Piers Park opened to the public, much to the joy of uptown residents and visitors. Back in the day, the Harlem Piers was a busy outdoor space, where people could watch the ferries shooting across the Hudson from Manhattan to the Palisades Amusement Park. Then it was demolished, but today it thrives again, featuring bike racks, patches of green grass and great views of our Jersey neighbors.
