Founded in 1961, this not-for-profit theater stages plays for children and young adults at its NYC space, performing adapted kids’ classics like Junie B. Jones, Sarah Plain and Tall, Bunnicula and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Theatreworks also provides regular free theater performances for families who are unable to afford tickets.
