Theater-lovers and culture-seekers must visit the borough’s first and only bilingual Hispanic theater. Debuting in1977 with a spotlight on traditional zarzuelas, the theater now exhibits an array of Spanish plays, original musicals and accessible and bilingual workshops for aspiring thespians. In the summer Thalia also hosts a vibrant community festival with free concerts and dance performances, fulfilling their mission to spread the joy and diversity of theater to all.
