Midtown WestOff-Broadway

St. Luke's Theatre

Out of Business

Description

The self-proclaimed “home of Off-Broadway hits,” this 46th Street theater seats 174 in what sometimes feels like a church basement, complete with free-standing chairs (no cushy red theater seats here) and less-than-stellar lighting. Still, it works for the company’s roster of gritty, less-flashy productions, including Lansky and The Tortoise and the Hare’s Holiday Hoop-la!.
