Prospect Park Long Meadow

Description

Possibly the longest unbroken meadow in any urban US park, Long Meadow is almost a mile of open green space, spanning nearly the entire west side of the park from Grand Army Plaza to Prospect Park Southwest. The area is a popular spot for picnics, sports, children’s birthday parties, flying kites and even summertime concerts by the New York Philharmonic.
