Percussion Penthouse

Description

Home to NYU’s Percussion Studies department (a program that trains students in everything from classical drumming styles to Stomp!-inspired Broadway percussion techniques), this massive musician’s workshop features more than 2,500 square feet of group rehearsal space, individual practice rooms and one of the largest collections of high-end percussion instruments in the world—including gongs, marimbas and the world’s largest timpani—all for use by NYU music students.
