Cross the 103rd Street Footbridge from East Harlem in Manhattan to arrive at Wards Island (lesser known than Randall’s Island, with which it shares a landmass), where these stables are situated. Call ahead to arrange half-hour lessons, or sign up for one of the summer programs; either way, you’ll find yourself riding at the last such facility in Manhattan.
