Jeremy’s Ale House

Description

One of the City’s last great dive bars, Jeremy’s Ale House was opened in 1974; though it’s moved locations several times, it’s always called Front Street home. The family-owned spot is known for ice-cold gigantic 32-ounce beers and fresh seafood, including fried clams and fish and chips. Women’s bras line the ceiling—collected early on when owner Jimmy offered $25 to women to hang the bras to drum up business—adding to the kitschy feel of the joint.
