Essie Flagship Salon

Description

Lacquer guru Essie Weingarten has opened her first-ever salon, a colorful space housed inside the Samuel Shriqui Salon (where she has been getting weekly manicures for the past 20 years). You’ll find eight nail stations, each with a leather seat in a shade the same color as an Essie polish, such as pink Bahama Mama and purple Status Symbol. Those vibrant hues stand out against crisp white walls and tables. Manicures are $32–$45 ($40–$50 with head manicurist Josephine Allen), depending on the use of gel or designs, while pedicures cost $65 ($70 with Allen). Once your talons dry, scoop up any of the beloved label’s 300 bottles of polish ($10 each) for at-home touch-ups.
