East River Waterfront Esplanade
Description
When it's finished, this scenic two-mile promenade will span from the Battery Maritime Building to the Lower East Side—and it's already one of New Yorkers' favorite places to walk, jog, bicycle and even fish. The completed project will feature new recreational options at Pier 15 and Pier 35, and South Street will be rebuilt with a dedicated bikeway.
