Commodore Barry Park

Description

Brooklyn’s oldest park is named after Commodore Barry, who founded the adjacent Brooklyn Navy Yard. The park offers more than 10 acres of public facilities and green space, including baseball, basketball and football areas, playgrounds and a pool. The park also hosts concerts and events in the summer—previous performers have included rising stars like Janelle Monae.
