Description
Staten Island’s first Islamic community center—originally established in 1973—is home to one of the biggest mosques in North America, which is open to the public for daily prayer. The center also presents a wide variety of community outreach and education programs, like their recent evening of lectures and exhibits, “Celebrating Prophet Mohammad’s Life.” The center also houses the private Miraj Islamic School.
