5050 Skatepark

Description

5050 Skatepark, the City’s very first indoor skateboarding facility, is located a short distance from the Staten Island Ferry and is also the only venue of its kind in Staten Island (the borough’s outdoor skate park was torn down in 2011). From beginners to experts, extreme-sports enthusiasts can enjoy obstacles, ramps and rails of every level to practice and ride on. Riders at the park are required to wear a helmet (safety gear is available for rental). Prices start at $12 for three-hour sessions, and a signed waiver is required.
