Description
The latest venture from Jacob Hadjigeorgis, proprietor of the Upper West Side’s popular Jacob’s Pickles and Maison Pickle, does not have pickle in its name. The retro-styled tiki bar does, however, serve a frozen pickle painkiller that incorporates hot sour brine, making for a cocktail pleasantly reminiscent of a bread-and-butter chip. Other drinks—classics like the Singapore Sling, original concoctions such as Shark Snacks (a rum and tequila cocktail served in a shark-shaped vessel)—look extra photogenic in front of the bar’s hula-girl-print wallpaper.
