On Friday and Saturday nights in warmer months, the Met's rooftop becomes The Cantor Roof Garden Bar, and in addition to cocktails and light food, visitors can take in panoramic views of Central Park. It's a rare vantage from which to view New York City's most lush greenery and breathtaking skyline. But get there early, as things close down in accordance with museum hours.
