Description
Enter through a quaint, old-fashioned barber shop—if you get here early enough, have a haircut and beard trim, along with complimentary bourbon on the rocks—before going through a sliding door in back. Inside, you’ll find a surprisingly spacious speakeasy with a lounge and full dance floor, where a DJ spins old school and remixed hip-hop. On weekends, be here by 9pm, otherwise a bouncer manages the crowd out front, killing the speakeasy ambiance. If you like sweet cocktails, go for the Strawberry Fields (Stoli, honey, lemon, strawberries and parsley), though be prepared to wait as the bartenders take their time to get it right.
