Sixpoint Brewery

Description

The "dudes" at Sixpoint Brewery keep Mother Nature in mind throughout the entire brewing process, from selecting pure and local ingredients to giving back to the environment (and the community) by donating some of their by-products to a Red Hook farm to be composted. Theirs is a labor of love, and you can taste it in their superior brews—Brownstone Ale, Righteous Ale and Sweet Action are particular favorites with the locals. Sixpoint recently stirred up some (federal) controversy with its now sorely missed Hop Obama. With expansion plans in the works, New Yorkers are glad the Sixpoint crew is so devoted to the drink.
