Pretty Ricky’s sits at the corner of Rivington and Ludlow Streets, an intersection at the heart of LES nightlife. The bar’s owners certainly have the credentials to sustain a site in such a high-traffic area, having opened thriving haunts Paper Daisy, Mister Paradise and Drexler’s in the nearby East Village. This laid-back spot emphasizes beer with its 20 drafts, reserve list of small-batch brews and back room used for beer-club meetings. There’s also a tight menu of original cocktails plus a few wines by the glass and bottle. On the food side, expect seasonal offerings like kabocha squash with roasted beets and a dessert modeled on the Chipwich.
