Allegedly the oldest bar in Brooklyn (it opened in 1874), this relaxed South Brooklyn spot is heavy on the neighborhood flavor and old-school Brooklyn ambiance. Its charms include a dining room full of regulars, a wall full of historical photos of the changing neighborhood, a traditional pub menu of burgers, French onion soup and deep-fried treats, and outdoor patio seating during the summer months.
