Nitecap

Out of Business

Description

Nitecap's speakeasy vibe starts at the front entrance, where a small, easy-to-miss door next to Schapiro's leads you down a staircase to an underground den. The space is small and dimly lit, and it can get crowded, but it's a worthwhile trip for some deliciously inventive cocktails. Favorites include the Disappearing Act (Lillet Blanc, Linie aquavit, lemon juice and sparkling wine) and the Fixer Upper (vodka, spiced grapefruit cordial, ginger and seltzer). The drinks are presented creatively, with adornments like edible flowers, cucumbers and berries. There are also small bites available, to provide sustenance with your drinks.
