Description
Perched atop the Sixty LES Hotel, Make Believe is a whimsical refuge above one of the City’s most rambunctious nightlife neighborhoods. Hot pink banquettes surround the dance floor and millennial-pink foliage envelops the DJ booth, which pumps out world music from David Byrne’s Luaka Bop label. Drinks here are inspired by Japan and heavy on matcha, as seen in the matcha julep with vodka, matcha, sake, mint and lemongrass. The Asian influence also translates into substantial sake and Japanese whiskey lists, as well as snacks like edamame and pork shumai dumplings.
