Description
Are you a music geek, a sci-fi geek or both? If you fit any of those descriptors, Jupiter Disco is a spot after your own heart. Co-owners and bartenders Maks Pazuniak, formerly of Maison Premiere, and Al Sotack, ex-Death & Co., channeled their shared love of science fiction into this Bushwick bar. Imagine a watering hole conceived by Philip K. Dick, Kraftwerk and a young George Lucas—a framed blueprint of Star Wars' Mos Eisley bar hangs on the wall. The dystopian vision is rounded out by retro-futurist baubles and cathode ray tube monitors screening the drinks menu. There’s also a DJ booth—and a killer sound system—that plays host to an impressive roster of names Thursday through Sunday nights.
