Getaway

It has the bartenders, barstools, bitters and cocktail shakers, but this new Greenpoint bar is entirely booze-free. Riding the rising popularity of spirit-free drinks, Getaway is the first permanent NYC bar to exclusively use zero-proof ingredients in its drinks. You won’t see a Shirley Temple on the menu, but you will see mixed-drink options like A Trip to Ikea (with lingonberry, lemon, vanilla, cardamom and cream) and the Lone Wolf and Shrub (with rhubarb, lime juice, elderflower syrup and basil). Coffee, tea, kombucha and soft drinks round out the selections.
