Fifth Hammer Brewing
Description
A welcome addition to LIC's brewing scene, Fifth Hammer brought its 15-barrel brewing rig to the neighborhood in late 2017. Stop by the taproom to sample a variety of adventurous drafts on tap (complete with hammers as tap handles). Recent standouts include a blueberry sour beer and a cucumber saison. Head brewer Chris Cuzme frequently works on beer collaborations with other local brewers like Kelly Taylor of Brooklyn's Kelso Brewing and the NYC Homebrewers Guild. In addition to beers, the taproom here also hosts weekly live music sessions and monthly beer and cheese tastings.
