End of the Century

Out of Business

Description

This upscale tiki bar takes its name from the Ramones’ fifth album, so let there be no doubt that you’re in Forest Hills, the Queens neighborhood where the punk pioneers grew up and formed their band. If you ask the regulars, the bar strikes the right chord. The folks behind Dutch Kills dreamt up the cocktails, whose gorgeous presentations include lots of crushed ice and rum. Try the shareable Rum-Vroom Punch, in which a pool of dark rum, absinthe, grapefruit, lime, cinnamon and Angostura bitters surrounds a central flame.
