This salsa and merengue bar serves the local gay and lesbian community, spinning classic and current Latin hits every weekend evening for a friendly, mixed crowd comprised of all different ages and genders. Those who don’t feel moved to dance can take a seat at one of the tables that line the edges of the room and sip a Latin liqueur from the bar. And to clear up any confusion you might have, it’s actually pronounced “Boom Boom Bar.”
