Description
Once an auto-repair shop, Bar Matchless has become a chill-out mecca for Greenpoint residents and a haven of live entertainment featuring NYC-based musical acts. On Wednesdays, free "Heavy Metal Parking Lot Karaoke" lures in the local headbangers—along with bikers who float in and out as their hogs get worked on at the motorcycle shop next door. Non-metalheads have their reasons for visiting, as well: the extensive beer list features (at least) 14 on draft, while foosball, billiards and darts entice bar gamers into Matchless' back room.
