Please note: this business is now closed; nycgo.com keeps record of many old and closed venues. Imagine if a young rock star decided to open a dive bar and fill it with all the things that young rock stars love. There would be a well-stocked jukebox, plenty of good seating (black leather, of course), red mood lighting, mug shots of famous musicians on the walls—and a gong that you can clang if you want to buy everybody in the bar a shot. Turns out, this bar exists. It's called Angels & Kings, the creation of Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz. Once in a while, you might catch Pete or his celeb friends here—but even without them, it's a solid spot to grab a drink.
