Amor y Amargo

Out of Business

Description

Fans of the East Village cocktail bar will be glad to find the same bitters-focused concept (in bigger digs) in Williamsburg. Beverage director Sother Teague maintains an intimate feel at the new 24-seat outpost by limiting the amount of bartenders to two and building into the space to make it seem smaller. The menu sticks strictly to stirred drinks and does not offer beer, wine or juice. The bar’s signature Sharpie Mustache (amaro, Bonal, bitters, rye and gin) made the leap to Brooklyn alongside new cocktails like the Waterproof Watch, with amaro, Aperol, gin and pimento bitters.
