With its forward-thinking roster of installations, performances, exhibitions and lectures, the brand-new global art initiative X is poised to reinvigorate the discussion of the changing landscape of contemporary art. This new nonprofit organization presents exhibitions and programming in four phases throughout the year in its Chelsea space. Free and open to the public Wednesdays through Saturdays, X will showcase artist interventions, site-specific projects, historical in-depth exhibitions, one-night performances, lectures and weekly events.
